Terms of Service — DAB Bot

1. Acceptance of these terms

By inviting DAB Bot ("the bot") to a Discord server, or by logging into its web dashboard ("the dashboard"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't add the bot or use the dashboard.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by Discord's own Terms of Service in your country) and comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using the bot.

3. The service

The bot provides moderation, leveling, economy, welcome/goodbye messages, custom commands, a visual automation canvas, live-stream alerts (Twitch/YouTube/Kick/TikTok), a Wheel of Fortune/Team Picker, and related Discord-server management tools, configured through the dashboard. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time.

4. Accounts and access

• Dashboard access requires logging in with your own Discord account via OAuth. You're responsible for anything done under your Discord account.
• Only members with "Manage Server" permission on a given Discord server can configure that server's settings from the dashboard.

5. Premium subscriptions

• Some features are gated behind a paid "Premium" tier, billed per server through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal linked in the dashboard; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

• We may change Premium pricing going forward; existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect on their next renewal.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the bot to violate Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or any applicable law.
• Attempt to abuse, exploit, or overload the bot or dashboard (e.g. automated scraping, denial-of-service, credential stuffing).
• Use the bot to harass, threaten, or harm others, or to distribute illegal content.
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or rehost the bot or dashboard without our written permission.

We may suspend or remove the bot's access to a server, or disable a dashboard account, if we reasonably believe these terms are being violated.

7. Content and data

Server admins are responsible for the configuration they create (custom commands, embed content, welcome messages, etc.) and for complying with applicable law regarding that content. Our Privacy Policy describes what data we collect and how it's used — it's incorporated into these terms by reference.

8. Third-party services

The bot integrates with Discord, Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok, and Stripe. Your use of those platforms is separately governed by their own terms; we're not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or content. The AI-powered features (Canvas Assistant, /support) run on a self-hosted model we operate ourselves, not a third-party AI provider.

9. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as available." We don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the bot or dashboard at any time, including for maintenance. We'll make a reasonable effort to communicate significant changes in advance.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The bot and dashboard are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [VUL IN: entity/owner name] is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the bot or dashboard, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time by removing the bot from your server and/or cancelling any active subscription. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or the Acceptable Use section above.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [VUL IN: country/jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use of the bot or dashboard after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
